Born in Cincinnati in 1972, Blythe was the doll every other doll wanted to be: plucky, free-spirited and well accessorised… The way the story goes, photographer Gina Garan, received an original Blythe doll as a gift from someone who felt that Blythe looked like Gina. Gina began taking her on photoshoots and practicing taking pictures using her as a model. Shortly Gina was never without her. From that point in time, Blythe has travelled the world with Gina, making each of them known both in the fashion arena and in charity work as well.
